Top Gear on Sunday offers a new ‘Reasonably Priced Car’, Jeremy in a Reliant Robin, May up a Volcano and Stig in a Bentley.
It’s been a while since we did a ‘Top Gear Tomorrow’ piece, but that’s because the boys have been off air. But they’re back tomorrow – 8pm BBC2 – despite the plethora of sport on telly this weekend – World Cup, Wimbledon and the Valencia Grand Prix.
So what treats to Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May have in store? It looks as if Jeremy is out playing with Del Boy’s favourite mode of transport, The Reliant Robin, and manages to roll it over somewhere in Yorkshire.
James May takes a Toyota Hilux up a volcano in Iceland – as we reported earlier in the year. Not only did he take the Toyota up a volcano – complete with water-cooled tyres – but the world then blamed Top Gear for the eruption of the self same icelandic volcano which brought chaos to the skies of Europe.
Hammond gets to give the Chevrolet Lacetti a ‘dignified’ send off before the new ‘Star in a reasonably priced car’ car gets revealed (a litle bird tells us it’s a Kia cee’d). An the Stig gets to take the new Bentley Continenjtal Supersports Convertible round the track.
Just a regular day in Top Gear Land.
