Top Gear tonight with James May doing Rallycross, Jeremy with Jaguar F-Type and Eagle E-Type, Hammond with new Mazda MX-5 and Nicholas Hoult is SIARPC.

Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson plays Jaguar E-Type & F-Type tonight
Top Gear tonight (episode seven of series 22) looks a properly decent car episode, with lots of interest and not too much stupidity on display.
With that huge 600bhp, 664lb/ft of torque sent to all four wheels, James had his hands full when he went out to play at the Lydden Hill circuit in Kent, but he did get help to get to grips with the Polo from Top Gear’s US presenter Tanner Foust before going head to head with regular World RX drivers like Liam Doran and Petter Solberg.
But this wouldn’t be Top Gear without a spanner in the works, so James had the joy of Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond as his spotters. How will he get on?
Back at the Top Gear track, Jeremy gets to grips with the latest Jaguar F-Type Coupe and gets to play with the glorious Eagle Low Drag GT too, Eagle’s take on where the Jaguar E-Type should have ended up.
Richard Hammond gets the away card this week to go to Spain to play with the latest Mazda MX-5, a car that has evolved once more but still seems to offer the sort of pure, affordable roadster fun the British were once so good at.
Star in a Reasonably Price Car tonight is Nicholas Hoult – probably still best know for About a Boy, but also an X-Men or two and soon to be on show in Mad Max:Fury Road – who does his best to but in a respectable time at Dunsfold.
Top Gear, Series 22 Episode 7, is on BBC2 tonight, Sunday 8 March 2015, at 8pm UK time.
