Toyota are teasing a new concept to be revealed in the UK in January that will change the face of motoring. But is the RND even a car?

Toyota RND Concept teased. Is it even a CAR?
We’re use to car makers’ teases for new models, and we usually have a good idea what they’re teasing even if the image supplied is completely confusing.
Toyota say the RND Concept will be revealed in the UK on 26 January (which is odd in itself) and that it marks a radical shift in direction for Toyota, taking the fun-to-drive qualities of Toyotas to a higher level.
But maybe the RND isn’t a car at all, but a new accessory of some sort?
Toyota say that RND will have an impact far beyond the Toyota model range and have the potential to change the look of every vehicle on the road. And at no point do they actually tell us the RND is a car.
Toyota GB President, Matt Harrison, said:
Full details of the RND Concept will be announced next week, but ahead of the official unveiling I can say that this is something we are proud of and that will make a valuable contribution to the world we live in.
So we’ll have to wait until 26 January to find out what RND is. But we’re punting that it’s not a new Toyota.
