The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid – Volvo’s very appealing 4WD ‘Green’ V60 – can now be had with the R-Design exterior and interior enhancements.
The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid is already selling at such a rate that Volvo can’t keep up with demand, and now they’re making it even more difficult for themselves by launching an R-Design version.
The R-Design version of the V60 Plug-in Hybrid is no different, with R-Design bumpers and grill, rear diffuser and 18″ Ixion alloys on the exterior and sports seats, sports pedals, sports floor mats and charcoal headlining on the interior giving the car a more focused appeal.
What you still get is the highly tax-efficient hybrid system that mates a 215bhp 5-cylinder 2.4 litre diesel driving the front wheels to a 70bhp electric motor on the back wheels, making the V60 Plug-in 4Wd and able to get to 62mph in 6.9 seconds in Power Mode but comes with a range of 621 miles, emissions of just 49g/km and even the ability to run as an EV for 31 miles.
It’s an appealing package – particularly for company car drivers – and the addition of the R-Design model adds further appeal.
The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid R-Design is now available to order and will cost you £56,675 (£51,675 after the £5k rebate).
