The Warren Golf & Country club in Woodham Walter, nr Chelmsford, hosts its inaugural classic & supercar show this weekend, including Marussia F1 & Max Chilton.
The Warren Golf & Country Club, which nestles on the Warren Estate in Woodham Mortimer – far from the white stilettos and tangoed complexions of the more chavvy parts of Essex – has its first ever classic and supercar show event this Saturday (4th May 2013) and they’ve made a pretty good fist of putting an appealing array of goodies together.
Max Chilton, a relatively new entrant in the F1 world, will be there together with his Marussia F1 car, as will be the entire Le Mans Jaguar XJR Team thanks to local specialists JD Classics.
There will be the usual display of classic and supercars and Warren have managed to get ‘The Blades’ air display team on hand to entertain the family as well as live music, competitions and a ‘ Warren Concours’ with the some of the finest classic cars from the past right up to modern supercars.
The Warren’s MD, Tony Stanton, said:
It is a fantastic coup for The Warren to get both Max and Marussia along to the event along with the Le Mans XJR works team. These additions, alongside the selection of world-class cars and entertainment, only make for a more spectacular day.
If you’re at a loose end this Saturday, and anywhere near Woodham Walter, it will probably be worth a look, especially as tickets are just £10 for adults and £5 for children (you can get tickets here and some will be available at the gate)
And as it’s almost on our doorstep we might send someone up to take a look.
