2018 Hyundai Santa FE SUV TEASED
The new Hyundai Santa Fe is due to be revealed in February ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show, so Hyundai has started the tease for the updated Santa Fe.
The Hyundai Santa Fe is a decent big-ish SUV, but it was last updated fully for 2013 and is under attack from newer offerings. So it’s time for the fourth generation Santa Fe.Ahead of a reveal in February – and a public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March – Hyundai has started the tease for their range-topping SUV with a single profile view (above).
The image shows the Santa Fe’s new slim headlights and a strong shoulder line running from there to the back of the car.
But what we do know is that as well as the slim Kona-like headlights, the Santa Fe will also get a more prominent grille, modified bumpers, LED lights and big fogs.
Hyundai tell us the new Santa Fe will come with a raft of safety technology, including an industry-first Rear Occupant Alert which monitors the rear seats and notifies the river if passengers are leaving the car, as well as Rear Cross Traffic Alert with automated braking.
The current Santa Fe is only available with Hyundai’s 2.2 litre diesel, so expect that engine to be updated, as well as a distinct possibility the new Santa Fe could come with some sort of electrification as an alternative at some point.
