2018 Range Rover update LEAKED on video
The updated 2018 Range Rover has leaked out on a promotion video, showing similar Velar inspired tweaks to those on the new Range Rover Sport.
Just last week we saw the updates for the 2018 Range Rover Sport, and we assumed similar tweaks to the full size Range Rover wouldn’t be far behind. And they’re not.A video published on YouTube yesterday (below) appears to show a leaked trailer for Land Rover’s new full-sized Range Rover and, unsurprisingly, they look very similar to those Land Rover wrought on the new Sport.
That means a slicker-looking grille, with tweaks to bumpers and lights, but also a much needed refresh for the interior, particularly the technology.
That means the arrival of the same multi-screens we first saw in the Velar and which are now on the new Range Rover Sport, as well as, we assume. updated technology.
It also seems likely that Land Rover will announce the new Range Rover will come with a hybrid powertrain option, and there’s little reason to assume it will offer anything much different to the Range Rover Sport.
That will mean a 296bhp four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 114bhp electric motor to deliver a PHEV with a sub-7 second 0-62mph and official economy of 100mpg. But it will mean much lower BIK rates for business users which will be a big selling point. For now.
With the video in the wild the official reveal can’t be far off.
