Suzuki iV-4 Concept revealed: Frankfurt 2013

The Suzuki iV-4 Concept has been revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a Nissan Juke rivalling urban SUV arriving in 2015.

The Suzuki iV-4 Concept was teased by Suzuki ahead of its reveal today at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And it’s a convincing looking urban SUV.

Aiming to take a piece of the market from the Nissan Juke and its like – the ‘Funky Urban Warrior – the iV-4 is scheduled to be an addition to the Suzuki family, rather than a replacement for the Jimny or Grand Vitara, and fits below the new SX4 S-Cross in size.

With familiar Suzuki traits – like the clamshell bonnet and five-bar front grill – and looks like it belongs to the Suzuki family already, even though its probably a couple of years from hitting Suzuki showrooms.

In fact, the iV-4 is a more convincing take on Suzuki’s design language than anything currently in its range. and Suzuki’s claim that it will be an SUV for the current day is probably right on the money.

The shame is Suzuki won’t be launching the i-V4 until 2015.
