It took Lamborghini a very long time to come up with a replacement for the Gallardo, but it finally managed to reveal its replacement – the Lamborghini Huracan – just before Christmas after a long and tedious attempt at generating interest in the reveal with a pointless series of teaser videos.
The Supercar Kids have managed to get their hands on a price list for the Huracan in the UK, and it seems Lamborghini are wanting £180,720, plus £3k for delivery and £1,120 for registration, making an on the road price of £184,840.
But that almost £185k to get in to the driving seat of a Huracan is just the start, with Lamborghini-typical prices for the options, including £10,500 for Matt paint, £7,452 for Ad Personam paint, £5,256 for a transparent engine cover with carbon engine bay, £5,148 for Magneto-rheological suspension and lifting system and £2,400 for anti stone chipping film.
All of which means the Huracan is probably going to cost most buyers more than £200k by the time they’ve ticked a few option boxes.
But for similar money to the 12C and 458 (the McLaren 12C starts at £176k and the Ferrari 458 at £178.5k) you will get the newest of the trio with a 5.2 litre V10 good for 602bhp, 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds and four wheel drive.
You pays your money…
