Citroen’s new DS 4 Crossback (& DS4) UK Price & Spec: Costs from £19,495

The 2016 facelift of Citroen’s DS 4 – and its new Crossover sibling, the DS4 Crossback – are now on sale in the UK costing from £19,495 and £21,745 respectively.

Citroen revealed a facelift for the DS4 back in August – and revealed the DS4 Crossback too – and now both have gone on sale in the UK, with the DS4 costing from £19,495 and the DS4 Crossback from £21,745.

Engine choices include the 3-cylinder turbo Pure Tech 130, a trio of BlueHDi diesels – including the Blue HDI 180 with a chunk of torque – and a THP 210 petrol which is only available in the DS4 (no performance option for the Crossback).

The model options are either the Elegance or Prestige on the regular DS4, and the Crossback doesn’t have trim options at all – it’s the DS4 Crossback. Period.

What Citroen actually want you to do is personalise your DS4, so you can now opt for a two-tone offering with a choice of four colours for the roof and rear spoiler, door mirrors and hub caps which, in conjunction with the choice of Perla Nera Black, Whisper Purple, Virtual Blue or Tourmaline Orange finish for the roof, adds up to 38 different combinations.

There’s less choice on the DS4 Crossback, which comes with the required plastci cladding, a raised ride height, a tweaked front end and rear spoiler in black and roof rails in grey along with black door mirrors and sills.

The new DS4 is also the first PSA car to come with Apple CarPlay, with the new 7″ infotainment screen delivering easy access to all functions (and reducing the switch count in the process) and is designed to include MirrorLink for duplicating Smartphone content on its screen.

Both the Citroen DS4 and DS4 Crossback are now on sale in the UK from Citroen’s dealers.
