Nissan 370Z gets a bit of a titivate
The Nissan 370Z – Nissan’s long-standing sports coupe – gets a bit of an update for 2017, but the changes are very minor and mainly cosmetic.
It was way back in 2008 that the Nissan 370Z arrived, and although it came in for a bit of a facelift in 2012 – and another in 2014 – it’s not changed much. That makes you think either Nissan think the 370Z is practically perfect, or they’ve lost interest.
Whatever the answer to that is, the news that Nissan are once more giving the 370Z a facelift for 2018, and it’s still nothing more than mild titivation, still leaves the question unanswered.
The updates run to some black door handles, a black fascia on the back bumper, with tinted headlights and combination tail lights from the NISMO fitted across the offerings.
Even more exciting is the arrival of some new 19″ alloys, and even a new Red Metallic paint option.
The one technical change is the arrival of an EXEDY clutch if you want to spec your 370Z with a manual gearbox which is said to give greater levels of change precision and comfort.
On the technology front, the GT now gets the NissanConnect Premium Infotainment with 7″ screen, Sat Nav, DVD (who wants a DVD these days?) and rear-view camera.
You will now get the 2018MY updates on the 370Z if you pop off to your Nissan dealer and remind them it’s a car they still sell. Prices start at £29,185.
