Skoda Kodiaq L&K see Skoda’s SUV go POSH
The Skoda Kodiaq L&K is a new range-topping Kodiaq SUV – to debut at the Geneva Motor Show – as Skoda extends the Kodiaq range and adds new engine options.
The new Skoda Kodiaq SUV only arrived at the Paris Motor Show last year, but Skoda has been busy ever since offering new additions to their new SUV.We’ve had the Skoda Kodiaq Scout for those who want a Kodiaq with a bit of off-road chops, the Kodiaq Sportline for those who want their Kodiaq to look like it goes faster, and the Kodiaq SE Technology as Skoda’s pitch for the hearts and minds of business users.
Now we get the Kodiaq for the Sybarite (assuming it’s for Sybarites without the need for a premium badge) with the arrival of the range-topping Skoda Kodiaq L&K.
The Kodiaq L&K (that’s named after Laurin and Klement, founders of Skoda, in case you were wondering), which comes with 19″ alloys, LED headlights, vertical slat grille, ‘Laurin and Klement’ badges and chrome trim.
Inside there’s a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, ‘Laurin and Klement’ logos on the seats and instrument panel, leather, electric memory driver seat, piano black trim, rain sensor, ambient lighting and CANTON sound.
Skoda has also added a couple of new engines to the Kodiaq’s option too, with a 1.5 litre TSI petrol with 148bhp, and the 2.0 litre TSI now gets 187bhp.
Both new engines get a particulate filter, there’s a new 7-speed auto for both the new petrol engines and the 148bhp TDI, and the 187bhp petrol comes with 4WD and Adaptive Chassis Control.
The Skoda Kodiaq L&K will get its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
