Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition is a limited run of 10 DBS Superleggeras by Aston Martin’s Q celebrating 50 years of Concorde.
Aston Martin are struggling to make sales at the moment although, with the new DBX arriving in showrooms soon and a properly appealing range of cars, we should hope AML come out the other side and on to profitable glory. But, just like many mainstream car makers, Aston Martin continues to roll out limited edition models with hefty price tags to tempt deep-pocketed buyers to part with their cash, the latest of which is this, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition.
Commissioned, appropriately, by Aston Martin Bristol (Bristol is the ‘home’ of Concorde), the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition has been put together by AML’s Q Division of bespoke titivators and is available in a run of just 10 cars to celebrate 50 years since Concorde took to the air.
Cosmetic changes to the DBS include side strakes made from milled aluminium, British Airways colours on the roof, aero blade and rear diffuser, black tinted carbon fibre roof with Concorde silhouette graphic, BA’s ‘Speedmark’ logo on the front wings, new badges and CAA aircraft identifier numbers.
Inside gets Concorde logos on the front seats, a Mach Meter graphic on the sun visor, a ‘Sonic Boom’ graphic on the healdiner, flappy paddles made from titanium from Concorde compressor blade and Terence Conran mats.
You can be pretty sure the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition will cost a chunk more than the regular DBS Superleggera, but AML do say a part of the premium price will go to the Air League Trust
