Aston Martin DBS Superleggera On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Edition
Aston Martin deliver an ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ Edition of the DBS Superleggera to celebrate 50 years since the DBS appeared in OHMSS.
We all know the Aston Martin connection with the James Bond Franchise has paid big dividends for AML, and although it’s not always been enough to help Aston actually make profits, it’s always imbued Aston with unchallenged ‘Cool’.But we do wonder if delivering a limited edition DBS Superleggera top celebrate 50 years since a DBS was the car of choice for George Lazenby in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is pushing the Bond connection a bit too cynically.
But cynical or not, we’re getting an olive green (just like Bond’s) Aston Martin DBS Superleggera On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Edition to celebrate 50 years since OHMSS arrived with perhaps the most contentious Bond actor in the franchise’s history.
Apart from the Olive Green paint job, this limited edition (just 50 cars) get a carbon fibre front splitter, aero blade, special alloys, a unique grille with six bright vanes to mimic the 1969 DBS, and black leather and alcantara with red highlights for the interior.
If you feel the need, Aston will also fit a drinks cabinet in the boot with enough space for a brace of Champagne bottles and a quartet of glasses.
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Edition is now available to order with first cars delivered in Q4. It costs from £300,007. Naturally.

Henry says
It is not the New Bond Car then?
Cars UK says
No, that looks to be the Rapide E (https://www.carsuk.net/is-james-bond-going-green-with-an-electric-aston-martin-rapide-e/)
Henry says
Is this an All Electric drive?
Cars UK says
Er, no. It’s a DBS, so that means a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 with 715bhp.
