Ferrari FF: The Official Video

February 24, 2011 By Cars UK

Ferrari FF Official Video

Ferrari FF Official Video

We have official video of the new Ferrari FF ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week.

Ferrari has managed to drag out the debut of the Ferrari FF despite its official reveal not being until Geneva next week. Not that we’d have expected anything less from a car which is – at least on the face of it – Ferrari’s range-topper; the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti.

And to be fair to Ferrari not all the ‘Milking’ of the debut of the FF has been down to them. We’ve managed to milk it a wee bit too. Which kicked off when we had the speculation that the 612’s successor was in the pipeline and asked ‘Is the new 612 a Shooting Brake?’, back in December.

We managed to confuse ourselves for a while wondering if the 612 was going to spawn a Shooting Brake version as a last hurrah to the old model, but that went away when the Ferrari FF got revealed – to a degree – last month.

But the reveal wasn’t exactly total. Ferrari obviously wanted to keep a bit of powder dry for Geneva, so there were no huge photo galleries and no answer to the question ‘How much is the Ferrari FF?’.

Then, via a few extra Ferrari FF photos, we had the Ferrari FF Husky Sledging Turk Video, which purported to be a serendipitous encounter between a Turk on a Husky sled and a Ferrari FF out testing, but had the fingerprints of Ferrari PR all over it.

But now we get the ‘Official’ Ferrari FF video, rolled out for your delight and delectation just days before we get the endless photos, technical details and maybe – just maybe – the cost of the FF at Geneva.

Enjoy.

I think the FF is as close to the Citroen Metisse as can be. Only ten times as expensive as that would have been. I like it a lot.

I am about as into cars as it can get, including automobile history. Last time I checked, even the richest of people never use a Ferrari or Lamborghini or any other exotic car daily; and who drives their Ferrari in the snow, dirt or what have you, on top of having multiple people in the car? WTf Ferrari? We wanted a classic v12 with only 2 doors…

Probably the best car video ever made!

99% of people won’t be able to afford this car. But, ferrari still makes you want it that badly.

There is just something inherently wrong about a 350k price tag on an estate / station wagon.

I hope they stop here. It’s a nice car, but Ferrari has to remain Ferrari, not become a maker of family cars

This video should be the template for all kinds of car ads.

I really really don’t like this car at all, but this video makes me want to drive one so bad!! No snappy lines, catchy phrases, no? stupid emphasis on gadgets, MPG or Eco worthiness. It just awakens the primordial passion and pleasure of driving a good car.

BMW will forever have my respect for putting out the z3 m coupe. Love it or hate it, it was very butch, barbaric and in no way catered to car snobs….it was an exercise in ice-cold engineering. Nothing else.

With the FF, Ferrari has endeared themselves to me in a? similar way. It’s? a very ballsy move and it seems to be paying off because even at over a quarter million a piece, all the FFs are spoken for. Bravo, Ferrari!

Regardless of social status, no matter what, playing the all or nothing, a man should? consider the possibility of this iconic car, wanting, wanting, because the impulse of her beauty makes us yearn for something higher, a luminous art … provocative … exquisite … human

I’m sorry Enzo. On behalf of Tifosi the world over, please accept the apology of all your living devotees for this hideous abomination visited up on us by your successors.

Luca, may you burn for allowing this, this….thing, to see the light of day.

This is very good actually, although I can’t forgive Ferrari abandoning the stick shifter with H pattern gate. I mean, wasn’t that distinctive stick shift the main reason to get a Ferrari in the fist place?

No habia necesidad.

    Money doesn’t buy style.

How I hate businessmen influencing Ferrari. Rockstars – please come back.

How I miss the old Testarossas at the bottom of the pool – those were the days. What a cool thing to do.

Now we just see fat businessmen climbing in to Ferraris so Ferrari build cars for them instead.

    Like the Ferrari FF.
