The 100th Koenigsegg – the Koenigsegg Hundra, based on the Agera S – is heading for a debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Last year we learnt that Koenigsegg is to celebrate its 100th car in its ten years with a very special one-off. That one-off was teased last week ahead of a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show, and now we know it’s the Koenigsegg Hundra – a one-off Agera S.
The Koenigsegg Hundra (hundra means 100th in Swedish) is a right hand drive Agera S in clear carbon with 24 carat gold leaf inlays – Artisan applied, of course – creating what Koenigsegg are calling “…an intriguing mix of traditional and hi-tech craftsmanship”.
We’re assuming that the Koenigsegg Hundra is heading for Hong Kong because Koenigsegg has based it on the Agera S – which can produce the 1030 horses of the Agera R but without needing to use biofuel – and it’s right hand drive.
To commemorate the 10 years of Koenigsegg and their 100th car, Koenigsegg has also created a commemorative book – 0 to 100 in 10 Years – which looks at the history of Koenigsegg’s cars through the the voices of drivers, owners and key members of the team that helped Christian create the Koenigsegg brand.
The book is available in a limited run of 300 copies and there is also a series of 10 photographs – 10 of each – signed by Christian and designed to capture the soul of Koenigsegg’s cars (very poetic for a Scandinavian). And if you want to grab the book or the pictures then drop an email to zerotohundred@koenigsegg.com.
More on the Koenigsegg Hundra next week at Geneva.
Sacha says
It’s a stunning car. But it’s not exactly new apart from a bit of gold leaf.
