The Lamborghini Reventon Roadster Reveal at Frankfurt

Lamborghini has officially launched the Reventon Roadster at Frankfurt. Just 15 will be made and 13 are already sold.

There have been times since we first broke the story of the Reventon Roadster that we’d doubted the strength of our our original exclusive back in March. But our source was impeccable, and we stood by it. It helped once we saw a contract for a Reventon Roadster and we finally had no doubts once we knew Lamborghini was gathering some of their stalwart customers together for a private viewing – read that as sales pitch.

But it all worked for Lamborghini. No pictures got out – however hard we tried – until this last week. And even though Lamborghini had only sold six cars when they had the private showing, we’ve had it confirmed – from the very top at Lamborghini – that 13 people have paid €300k deposit. So, just two to sell. And how much? Well, if you want the net Euro price that will be €1,100,000. Want it in the UK? £970,000 OTR – + tax. And the first one gets delivered next month, so no interminable wait for buyers as there was with the Reventon Coupe.

The Reventon Roadster comes equipped with 661bhp V12, offering 3.2 seconds 0-60mph. It’s got the Reventon Coupe’ mad bodywork – minus the roof – and the same trick ‘Atari’ dash. It will be finished in a slightly different shade of grey to the Coupe – Reventon Grey.
