Lamborghini Reventon Roadster Promo Video
Lamborghini has produced a video of the new Reventon Roadster – but don’t expect too much.
Having bleated on about Lamborghini making a Reventon Roadster since March, and finally seeing the elusive drop-top surface at this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show and vindicating our exclusive (cue self-blown trumpet), we feel compelled to bring you all the titbits that get thrown our way – even if they’re a bit naff.
Latest morsel to land in out inbox is a video of the Reventon Roadster. Which on the face of it seems a damn fine thing to bring you. But it turns out is one of those fairly pointless ‘Promo’ videos where the director thinks he’s being clever by using abstract imagery and commentary instead of concentrating on the subject.
So we get child birth and mountains and ice and climbing and a handful of shots of what actually looks more like a CGI Reventon Roadster than the real thing. It’s all about there being less chance of getting a Reventon Roadster than just about anything else. But we know that. Show us the car!!
Perhaps, having actually managed to sell 13 of the 15 Reventon Roadsters already Lamborghini could have left the arty tease alone and given us some proper action shots of the Reventon Roadster. Something like the LP670-4 SV video from a while back, or even today’s action video of the 458 Italia.
Still, it keeps the interest up, I suppose.
