Lexus RC-F is the star car in the new Men in Black
The Men in Black franchise is back with a new outing – Men in Black:International – and Lexus has grabbed a star part for the RC-F Coupe.
We’re about to be treated to another installment of the Men in Black film franchise, which first burst on to screens in 1997, complete with new cast and new cars – and this time they’re Lexus’.Gone from the screen are Agent K (played by Tommy Lee Jones) and Agent J (played by Will Smith), and in come Chris Hemsworth as Agent H, Tessa Thompson as Agent M, Liam Neeson as High T and Emma Thompson as Agent O.
This time round the action is international, with much of the film in London, and Lexus has bagged themselves a front and centre spot in the film as the providers of the MiB cars.
It’s the new Lexus RC-F which bags the biggest chunk of screen time as it’s the replacement for previous Agent cars like the original Ford Crown Victoria and the much more suitable Mercedes E-Class, and the RC-F can pull the same trick as the Crown Victoria and morph in to a flying machine.
Jeffrey Godsick, Lexus’s man doing the branding, said:
We’re excited to collaborate with Lexus on this multi-tiered campaign in support of Men in Black: International. The Lexus RC F sports coupe provides the perfect vehicle for our team of Men in Black agents, led by Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as they protect the galaxy.
Lexus has also managed to get the RX and LX SUVs in the film too, and you can look forward to plenty of MiB-branded Lexus promos in the coming months. You can also bet on a Men in Black Lexus RC-F Special Edition too, we’d wager.
