We brought news on the Auto version of the GrandTurismo S last week, but with the actual unveil happening today at the Geneva Motor Show, we thought we’d refresh the information, and add a few show pics and a video!
The Maserati Grand Turismo S is a very under rated car. It has oodles of style and class, and costs far less than its stablemates from Modena. But the perception is still of a slightly odd, and less than reliable, Italian Prima Donna. But nothing could be further from the truth.
In reality, the Maserati GrandTurismo S is a match for any of its competitors. Gloriously styled, great handling and a real air of tradition, make the Grand Turismo a great choice. But until now, if you wanted an auto ‘box, you had to settle for the 4.2 engine or have the electro-actuated ‘box, which isn’t all that smooth.
But now, with the launch of the Maserati Grand Turismo S Automatic, you can waft when you want, or poodle around town, but get a pretty good response when you feel like playing. A good choice.
And it means that our left-foot challenged American friends can now manage to drive it!
