We have the first tease for the new Mazda CX-3 – a small SUV/Crossover based on the Mazda2 – ahead of a reveal at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month.

Mazda gives us out first look at its Mazda2 Suv/Crossover this morning – the Mazda CX-3 – before it heads for the Los Angeles Auto Show next month for a debut.
The new CX-3 looks like a smaller brother to the CX-5 – which you’d expect – with the Mazda ‘Kodo’ design language, a statement grill flowing in to the headlights, bold wave line down the flanks and a roofline that drops away more quickly than the CX-5 creating a sporties profile.
Mazda aren’t being hugely forthcoming with detail on the CX-3, but do say it will have the full range of SkyActiv Technology, which means at least the new 1.5 litre SKYACTIV diesel and the 1.5 litre SKYACTIV petrol engine in various states of tune.
We’ll no doubt get more detail on the new CX-3 as its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 19 November gets closer.
