Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 Coupe and A 45
The new Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, CLA 45 S and CLA 45 S Shooting Brake go on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £50,570 for the A 45 S.
If you’ve been waiting to place an order for the new Mercedes A-Class ’45’ AMG models, it’s your lucky day. The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, CLA 45 S and CLA 45 S Shooting Brake are all now on sale in the UK, with prices even for the A 45 S starting the wrong side of £50k.
The entry-level for the 45 S models is the A 45 S 4MATIC at £50,570, with the A 45 S 4MATIC Plus at £56,570; the CLA 45 S 4MATIC costs £52,145, with the CLA 45 S 4MATIC Plus at £58,145, and the CLA 45 S Shooting Brake 4MATIC costs from £53,570 with the CLA 45 S Shooting Brake 4MATIC Plus from £59,570.
All three A-Class models get the same ‘S’ version of the Mercedes four-pot delivering 415bhp and an eight-speed auto ‘box, sending power to all four wheels and scooting to 62mph in around 4.0 seconds, and official economy of around 33mpg.
A 45 S 4MATIC and CLA 45 S 4MATIC models get six AMG driving modes – Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual and Race – and come with 19″ alloys, red brake callipers, AMG suspension, AMG grille, AMG body tweaks, twin tail pipes, Performance seats and steering wheel, heated front seats, Parking PAckage, Mirror Package, 10.25″ infotaiment screen and 10.25″ instrument panel, Keyless, ambient lighting and augmented reality Sat Nav.
Opt to pay the premium for the range-topping 4MATIC Plus models and you’ll add AMG Aerodynamic Pack, Adaptive Damping suspension, Panoramic roof, Adaptive Multibeam LED headlights, posher 19″ alloys, electric memory seats in the front, leather, Traffic Sign Assist, Burmester Sound and Blind Spot.
Mercedes are now taking orders for the A 45 S and CLA 45 S range, with customer deliveries in the UK starting before the end of 2019.
