Mercedes is still busy teasing the replacement for the SLS – the AMG GT – with a series of three videos so we know what the AMG GT sounds like at different revs.

Now you can hear what the new Mercedes AMG GT (pictured) sounds like
It certainly looks like Mercedes are going to drag out the eventual reveal of the AMG GT – the effective replacement for the Mercedes SLS – with as many teases as they think they can without boring the pants off us.
We’re assuming (or maybe we’re hoping) that the engine sounds of the AMG GT – from engine start and idle through to heavy revs by way of light revs – may be the last of the teases before we get the full reveal.
But with the AMG GT not due to be publicly revealed until October at the Paris Motor Show (although Mercedes are planning to reveal the AMG GT in August) it will probably mean there’s time for more teasing titbits from AMG.
Still, you now know what the inside and the profile look like, and now you know what the engine sounds like too.
But does it sound like the 4.0 litre V8 Turbo we expect the AMG GT to get?
