The MINI Seven has been revealed as the latest ‘Special Edition’ MINI, with a name from Mini’s past and cosmetic tweaks. Costs from £18,545.
MINI has been quiet on the ‘Special Edition’ front as it concentrates on rolling out the latest generation, but things are getting back to normal with this, the MINI Seven Special Edition, the first of what will no doubt be endless new MINI specials. With a name that harks back to the original Austin Seven (which itself harked back to the ‘Baby Austin’), the new MINI has, say MINI, been developed to “showcase both the distinctive style inspired by the original Mini and the current modern values of the brand“.
The stand-out feature of the Seven is probably the standard LapisLuxury Blue paint job, although you can also opt for Pepper White, Midnight Black and British Racing Green, with a Melting Silver roof and mirrors caps, 17″ two-tone alloys and ‘MINI Seven’ door sill finishers and side scuttles. You can also option bonnet stripes in Melting Silver with a Malt Brown surround.
Interior titivations for the Seven include Sports Seats with a fabric and leather finish and a MINI Seven logo on the surround to the 6.5” colour display, as well as standard kit like MINI Connected, Bluetooth, USB, Excitement PAck, Climate, floor mats and storage compartment pack.
MINI has also delivered a special Chilli Pack for the Seven which adds leather seats, steering wheel in Nappa leather and waxed hand stitching.
You can have your new MINI Seven as a three or five-door and in Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S or Cooper SD guises, with prices starting from £18,545.
The new MINI Seven is now on sale at MINI’s UK dealers.
