With the new Bentley SUV taking a more ‘Continental’ approach to design, Bentley has released a teaser video of their Range Rover competitor to tease its design.

New Bentley SUV teased on video
Now the Bentley SUV has changed design direction after the poor reception the ‘Lorry with a Mulsanne Face’ EXP 9 F got, and is now going to be more fluid and less boxy – probably like a Continental GT on stilts – Bentley has started to tease its new off-roader.
Now Bentley has decided to tease the new SUV on video, and although there are plenty of dark shapes and interesting lines, we don’t get to see a great deal more.
Bentley do say their new SUV will be the most powerful and luxurious SUV, setting new standards in craftsmanship and design and a design that is both contemporary and distinctive and with exquisite and meticulous detailing.
It’s a bold claim – especially in light of the boxy-looking EXP 9F – but they should at least be on solid ground with the performance, which is expected to come courtesy of both a 4,0 litre turbo V8 and the 6.0 litre W12 when it launches in 2016, with a hybrid option (revealed recently on the Mulsanne Hybrid) arriving in 2017.
Between now and the Bentley SUV’s debut – at some point in 2015 – expect much more in the tease department.
