New Jaguar XF Sportbrake teased ahead of Wimbledon debut
The new Jaguar XF Sportbrake will be revealed at Wimbledon on 14 June by Andy Murray as Jaguar tease its arrival with a distinctly ‘Tennis’ theme.
We’ve already had a tease for the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake – the XF Estate – as Jaguar commandeered Wimbledon to tease its arrival. And it looks like tennis is going to be the theme for the XF Sportbrake’s launch.
Jaguar has sent a couple of photos of the new XF Sportbrake, complete with green and yellow camouflage – as they grab Tim Henman to give it an outing to Scotland.
But the tennis theme doesn’t stop with Tim Henman driving, and Andy Murray roped in for the debut, as Jaguar get Henman to blat off to the world’s most remote tennis court – the Bunabhainneadar Tennis Court on the Scottish island of North Harris – to show off the new Sportbrake.
Jaguar reckon the new XF Sportbrake is the world’s most dynamic estate car, and it looks set to offer exactly what the XF saloon does, just with a stylish shed bolted on the back.
Tim Henman said of his outing to the Bunabhainneadar Tennis Court in the XF Sportbrake:
The Bunabhainneadar Tennis Court looks unreal, so I can see why Andy doubted Susan’s original message.
We’ve proven that it really does exist now and the road to the court was the perfect place to try out the new XF Sportbrake as it mixes amazing scenery with some challenging corners. I can’t wait to drive the car again – perhaps a bit closer to home.
Andy Murray will reveal the new XF Sportbrake officially at Wimbledon on 14 June, just a couple of weeks before he defends his title.
