New Nissan Juke at the Francfort Show
The recently revealed new Nissan Juke has made a public debut at the ‘Francfort’ Show as Nissan sets up its own ‘Frankfurt’ Motor Show reveal.
It’s probably fair to say that Motor Shows are not what they were; long gone is the time when you could only see, and get close to, new models from the world’s best car maker at a Motor Show, with everything now already known from HD images online before the show even starts. This year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, despite being one of the best in the world and with a host of impressive premiers like the new Land Rover Defender, is struggling to stay relevant and appealing in a world that has all tomorrow’s information at its fingertips through a Smartphone before the show’s doors even open.
That’s evidenced by the notable list of high profile absentees from the show this year, including Aston Martin, Citroen, Peugeot, Toyota, Volvo…and Nissan. But not being at Frankfurt hasn’t stopped Nissan having a ‘Frankfurt’ reveal.
Having decided not to show at Frankfurt, Nissan decided the new Juke deserved its own Frankfurt Motor Show, so they sent a team of tent builders to a small village in France, Francfort, to build a display stand and stuff a couple of new Jukes inside.
They then invited current Juke owners to turn up to see the new Juke, promising free food and drinks and a good look at the new Juke. Although it doesn’t look like they were overwhelmed by numbers.
Still, the new Nissan Juke got its ‘Frankfurt’ reveal after all.
