Top Gear Series 24 teased with a Bugatti Chiron
The next series of Top Gear – Series 24 – is teased on video with an array of supercars, including the Bugatti Chiron, but no sign of Eddie Jordan or Sabine Schmitz.
Top Gear returns to our screens on Sunday March 5 at 8pm on BBC2. And it looks a bit more cohesive – and impressive – than the rather poor Chris Evan effort that was Series 23.A new Top Gear video trailer released today shows what co–presenter Chris Harris claims is the strongest season of cars Top Gear has ever had. Which is some statement.
But looking at the trailer (below) it’s quite hard to argue he’s wrong.
We can see the Bugatti Chiron, but we can also see the Ford GT, as well as offerings from Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, BMW and lots more besides.
We do know Top Gear has been busy filming not just in the UK but in the USA, Monte Carlo, Cuba, UAE and Montenegro (and more) so it’s not going to be a parochial show.
What it seems is happening is that the show is being built round three amigos – Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid – and as far as we can see it’s not just Chris Evans who’s been binned, but Eddie Jordan and Sabine Schmitz too.
Which is probably for the best.
