New Toyota Corolla GR Sport
Toyota is adding to the new Corolla range with the sporty Corolla GT Sport and Corolla Trek ‘Crossover’, with both models debuting at the Geneva Motor Show.
Now Toyota has revived the Corolla in the UK – replacing the relatively short-lived Auris – it seems to be on a mission to extend the Corolla range. Not only do we have the Corolla Hatch and Touring Sports (Estate), we also have a Corolla Saloon, despite saloon sales not being exactly stellar.
Now, ahead of the Geneva Show, Toyota has revealed two more Corolla models to add to the range, with the sporty Corolla GR Sport and the crossover-inspired Corolla Trek.
Following the lead of the Yaris GR, the Corolla GR Sport gets 18″ alloys, tweaked grille, side skirts, rear diffuser, privacy glass, sports seats, LED headlights and a two-tone paint job.
You’ll be able to have either the 1.8 or 2.0 litre hybrid engine – with 122bhp and 177bhp respectively – both with a CVT ‘box.

New Toyota Corolla Trek
The Toyota Corolla Trek is a rufty-tufty Corolla Estate (perhaps a precursor to the Corolla Cross we reported on a few months ago) in collaboration with bicycle maker Trek Bicycles.
It comes with a 20mm increase in ride height, skid plates, 17″ alloys, LED headlights, privacy glass and front fogs, and is also available with either the 1.8 or 2.0 litre hybrid powertrain.
Both models are heading for the UK, but won’t be available until well in to the summer.
