2018 Volvo V60 LEAKS
The new 2018 / 2019 Volvo V60 – the next new instalment in Volvo’s model onslaught – leaks as Volvo starts a tease for the arrival of the new S60 and V60.
We’ve had the arrival of the new XC40 and the first of the new 60 Series cars – the new Volvo XC60 – has arrived to much acclaim. And now it’s the turn of the new S60 and V60.
Volvo has started to tease the arrival of the new V60 with a video (below) telling us the new V60 is the continuation of Volvo’s undeniable estate heritage.
But what we also have is a single photo of the new V60 (above) published by Bosnian website AutoMotoSvijet which shows what looks like an official image of the new V60, a V60 which looks very like a V90. Which is no huge surprise.
Built on the same platform as the XC60 and the 90 Series cars, the new V60 (and its saloon sibling S60), look set to offer a slightly more compact take on the V90 and S90, with an interior which will follow those cars lead with a big portrait infotainment and Swedish cool luxury.
Expect everything from a D3 diesel to a T8 Twin-Engine plug-in hybrid under the bonnet, and also expect Volvo to deliver a Cross Cuuntry version of the V60 to challenge cars like the Audi A4 Allroad – although the Cross Country may be a little later to the new 60 Series party.
The new Volvo V60 and S60 are expected to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and will be revealed on 21 February 2018.

Surely the oldest is the V40 which hasn’t had major changes since 2013 and is due for a new version soon.

We meant the 90 range was the first of the Volvo ranges to get new generation models, so it’s now the oldest range. You’re right the V40 is older as a single model, but the new 40 range is already started with the XC40 and the new 60 range with the XC60.
