The new Volvo V90 and S90 are to be revealed to the UK car buying public this week at pop-up Scandinavian shops in Glasgow and Reading.
The new Volvo V90 and new S90 – Volvo’s new saloon and estate ’90’ models – have only just been revealed, so it would be reasonable to expect it’ll be a few months at least before potential buyers who don’t go to car shows get to see what Volvo has to offer. But Volvo has other plans.Instead of waiting until they have the V90 and S90 ready to roll out to dealers, Volvo has decided to get their new cars front and centre with Scandinavian style pop-up shops in Reading and Glasgow, from Tuesday April 5 to Sunday 17 April.
The Volvo pop-up shop in Reading will be on the lower mall at The Oracle and will be open Wednesday 9.30-20.00. Saturday 09.00 to 19.00 and Sunday 11.00 to 17.00, and the Glasgow shop will be at Silverburn and open in the week from 10.00 to 21.00, Saturday from 09.00 to 19.00 and Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00.
Visitors to the Volvo pop-up shops will get the chance to kick-back and enjoy a Scandinavian Cafe and Swedish Fika (it means having a break with coffee and sweets in the company of friends and family), whilst drinking in the V90 and S90.
Not only will the new V90 and S90 be on show, but Volvo will also have the new XC90 to show off too.
None of which will do Volvo’s ’90’ Series sales anything but good.
