The SsangYong Tivoli – a new compact SUV from SsangYong – has been revealed for the first time in production form ahead of a January 2015 reveal.

SsangYong Tivoli Compact SUV revealed in prordution guise
South Korea’s ‘other’ car maker, SsangYong – now owned by Mahindra and Mahindra – has looked like it’s heading in the right direction recently with a new design direction and cars that look more appealing. Like the SsangYong Tivoli, which was first teased last month.
Expected to cost from around £12,000 when it arrives in the UK and Europe in mid-2015, the Tivoli gets new, and more appealing, exterior design and an interior that looked – when SsangYong teased the Tivoli – a notch or two up in quality and design too.
Engine choices look likely to be a 1.6 litre petrol or diesel mated to ether front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive with a six-speed manual or auto gearbox.
We don’t yet know if the rumoured name change for SsangYong will take place before the Tivoli launches in the UK in summer 2015, but brand name change or not, the Tivoli does look like it could go a long way to changing perceptions of the brand.
