2017 Toyota Aygo X-Cite gets bigger spec and Red and Black paint job

The Toyota X-Cite has been titivated for 2017, with a bright red paint job and contrasting black roof and comes with a bigger spec. Costs from £12,520 in the UK.

In part that’s down to Toyota’s desire to make the Aygo as appealing as possible for its target market, with funky options and paint jobs, and good specs, continuing to make the Aygo an appealing buy.

Last year’s Aygo X-cite came with a bright yellow paint job to stand out from the crowd, and the 2017 take on the Aygo X-Cite is now on offer in the UK with a bright red paint job, contrasting black roof and bigger spec.

The contrasting black bits extend to the door mirrors and front ‘X’, A-Pillar extensions and back bumper insert, and the 15″ alloys get red centre caps.

Inside is a black and red theme too with new Blaze upholstery with black fabric and red bolsters, the air vents and upper door trims are in red, the centre console and gear shift surround are in gloss black and the black mats get red edging.

Extra kit for the 2017 Aygo X-cite includes Climate and auto lights, with x-touch Multimedia, 7″ touchscreen and privacy glass also in the mix.

Engine options are a Hobson’s choice of the 1.0 litre three-cylinder – as with all Aygos – and the x-cite, on sale now, costs from £12,520 (or £13,220 if you want the x-shift auto).
