MINI Countryman Special Edition
The MINI Countryman Special Edition is yet another limited edition Countryman to try and keep sales going ahead of the new Countryman in 2016.
The MINI Countryman isn’t the best-looking car you can buy, but it is surprisingly capable, and even quite appealing, but it’s now getting a bit old and there’s an all new Countryman on the way in 2016. Which explains why we’re getting this – the MINI Countryman Special Edition – to try and keep buyers heading in to MINI showrooms. We’re tempted to call the Special Edition a final run-out model, but as we’ve already proclaimed the Park Lane as the run-out in March, and then the Business Edition in July, as final run-out models before the new Countryman, we wouldn’t like to say the ‘Special’ is definitely the last Countryman.
Unfortunately, the Countryman Special Edition isn’t even that special, with just minor titivations to convince punters it’s an appealing buy.
Those titivations include a Space Grey Metallic roof and mirrors, a set of 18″ black alloys, a Black Metallic paint job, Sat Nav, heated front seats, Air Con, xenon headlights, leather and Piano Black interior trim.
MINI are building 250 Countryman Specials, with a choice of either Cooper S ALL4 Countryman or Cooper SD ALL4 Countryman, and a choice of manual or auto gearbox.
For some reason. MINI has declined to release prices for the Countryman Special, so perhaps you need to pop along to a MINI showroom and make an offer?
