Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate is the Vanquish Swansong
The Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate is a limited edition Vanquish – just 175 units – as a final swansong for the 6.0 litre V12 current generation Vanquish.
We’ve already seen Aston Martin working towards the end of the current Vanquish with the arrival of the Vanquish S to replace the regular Vanquish, as well as with a family of Vanquish Zagato models. But now we get what is almost certainly the swansong for the Vanquish with the reveal of the Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate, a limited run of 175 cosmetically tweaked cars to say goodbye to the Vanquish.
Sporting the same 595bhp 6.0 litre, naturally aspirated V12 as the regular Vanquish S, the Ultimate is not just a farewell to the Vanquish, but to Aston’s 6.0 litre V12 too.
The Ultimate comes with a choice of three bespoke themes, with a black Vanquish with bronze graphics, black leather, bronze stitching and black callipers, a grey car with blue accents, grey leather, blue stitching and yellow callipers, and a White Gold car with Bronze graphics, gloss black detailing Chestnut leather with black highlights and carbon fibre fascia.
Aston Martin VP Christian Marti said:
Since the Vanquish was first introduced it immediately established itself as the pinnacle of our series production range. It has since evolved into a truly formidable machine. As the much-loved and highly-acclaimed Vanquish S nears the end of production, we wanted to celebrate its success with a limited run of very special cars.
The Vanquish S Ultimate Coupe costs from £211,995, and the convertible Volante from £223,995, and is now available to order from Aston’s UK dealers, with first cars due in early 2018.
