Jaguar are to launch a Jaguar XF Estate, with a concept showing at Frankfurt in September and a launch in 2010.
Lamborghini has decided that this is not the right time to build a big expensive saloon car, so the Lamborghini Estoque project has been canned.
I’m not a huge fan of Government interference in the market. Whatever they do, they usually screw it up. But this time they’ve managed to screw it up by doing nothing. Well done, Lord Mandelson. We’ve heard this week about the huge drop in car production in the UK – down almost 60% last month. […]
A selection of wallpaper sized images for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 Super Veloce (SV).
We’ve still not seen official images of the new Mercedes E63 AMG, although the spy shots of the car are becoming less and less disguised as its launch date gets closer. But at least we know now when that launch will be – the New York Motor Show in April. So we shouldn’t have to […]
After the bad new that the British Motor Show is finally ending its terminal decline by cancelling in 2010 (and probably for good) it’s great to have the launch news for the Goodwood Festival of Speed – a terrific event that is exactly what a ‘Motor Show’ should be. Not static displays of untouchable cars, […]

Brutal almost, with performance that you will rarely, if ever, be able to use to the full on public roads. But both these cars, and almost any […]
Well, I suppose it’s not really a great surprise, but it’s still sad to see the demise of the British Motor Show. The SMMT (organisers of the British Motor Show) announced this lunchtime that the 2010 show has been cancelled. They stated that this was due to the crisis in the car industry at present […]
The Koenigsegg CCXR Edition is an unbelievable car. 1018bhp, 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds, 796ft/lb of torque and a top speed somewhere north of 250mph. And it can even be considered ‘Green’ as it can run on bio-ethanol (which is necessary to reach the maximum performance figures). The CCXR Edition was never going to be […]
I love the Jaguar XJ, particularly the Supercharged version (which is no longer available as the XJR – shame), but even I have to admit that it’s no longer a car I would want to live with everyday. Its strength, and ultimately its weakness, is that it looks little different conceptually from the iconic XJs […]
