The BMW M3 and M4 can now be specced with the BMW Competition Pack, which ups power to 444bhp and adds Adaptive M Suspension.
If the BMW M3 (or the M4 Coupe) isn’t quite hardcore enough for you there’s now a new option that makes your car that bit more impressive – the M3 and M4 Competition Pack.
BMW has given the car’s brain a bit of a tweak to yield and extra 19bhp – there’s now 444bhp on offer – thrown in some styling tweaks, added the Adaptive M Suspension, tweaked the Comfort Sport and Sport+ modes and recalibrated the M Diff and Dynamic Stability Controls.
It all adds up to a more hardcore M experience, with 0-62mph now available in just 4.0 seconds (M4 Convertible in 4.3s).
Styling tweaks include a set of 20″ alloys that look just like those on the M4 GTS, black quad tail pipes and black highlights on the exterior. Inside there’s a set of M Sport seats to keep you in place when things get lively and striped BMW M seat belts.
BMW has yet to reveal whether the Competition Pack for the M3 and M4 will be available in the UK, but as the UK is a big market for BMW’s M cars we would be very surprised if they don’t.
Assuming they do, expect it to add at least £5k to the price of a new M3, M4 or M4 Convertible.
