Check out the new Volvo S60 in a TRIO of videos

We’ve got a trio of videos of the new Volvo S60 as Volvo delivers a saloon car it hopes will make a dent in sales of the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class.

Last week, Volvo revealed the new S60, and at the same time opened its new Plant in the US which it plans to be the sole builder of the new BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class competitor.

Whether that comes to pass with the Trump threat of tariffs on cars remains to be seen, but for now everything is geared up to deliver a new S60 which looks as impressive as everything Volvo has delivered since the new XC90 arrived three years ago.

Volvo has eschewed diesel engines for the first time in a generation for the S60, offering the choice of either a range of 2.0 litre petrols or a brace of plug-in hybrids in the guide of the T6 Twin Engine and T8 Twin Engine, as well as a Polestar Engineered version of the T8 with more power and a more focussed drive.

Volvo has already put up a full configurator and prices for the S60 in the US, but the UK will have to wait a bit longer both for the configurator proper and for the new S60 to go on sale. For now, all you have is the Volvo S60 UK configurator offering you a single S60 R-Design spec and no prices.
