The first ever Volkswagen Golf GTD Estate revealed as an oil-burning GTI estate to take on the Ford Focus ST diesel estate. Debuts Geneva 2015.

Volkswagen Golf GTD Estate revealed ahead of Geneva 2015 debut
The two default options for a family estate are the VW Golf and the Ford Focus, but now Ford has a quick diesel estate in the Focus ST Estate, Volkswagen is responding with the Volkswagen Golf GTD Estate.
Cosmetically, the GTD Estate gets a roof spoiler at the back with darkened light lenses and twin exhaust, lowered sports suspension, black roof rails, bigger sills, a honeycomb grill and a set of 17″ alloys as standard.
Inside is pretty much Golf GTD Hatch with check trim sports seats and black headlining, but with a small shed on the back capable of far more than the hatch, especially with the back seats down.
The VW Golf GTD will debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor in March and go on sale in April. Firts UK deliveries are expected in June, with prices likely to start from around £27.5k.
