Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake FULLY revealed
The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake – the final member of Aston Martin’s Vanquish Zagato family – has been fully revealed. Just 99 being built.
Back in the summer, we got two new additions to the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato family, with the arrival of the Vanquish Zagato Speedster and Zagato Shooting Brake. But although we got to see the Speedster in all its glory, it seemed AML hadn’t quite got the Shooting Brake together, so all we got was a single side view.
But now they’ve managed to finish the posh estate and have revealed some new photos (above and below) which show us just how the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake looks. And, oh my, it looks good.
That long glass roof meets the back end cohesively, and the Shooting Brake just looks stunning; we can’t think of a better looking ‘Estate’ car.
Sadly, it seems AML has been so busy getting the looks of the Shooting Brake right that they haven’t finished the interior. Or if they have, they’re not showing it.
But we expect it to remain just a two-seater, with a beautifully trimmed long load are behind, although until Aston sort it out we don’t actually know. But we do know it will have its own fitted luggage.
Under the skin of the Shooting Brake is the Vanquish S, with its 5.9 litre V12, fettled suspension and eight-speed auto, whilst much of the bodywork is carbon fibre.
Just 99 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brakes are being built, and back in August there were still some for sale. If there were any left before these pictures were released, they’ll be gone in no time.
Time to phone AML.

Shooting brake? How are you supposed to get a party of gun-carrying gentlemen, grouse beaters and dogs into that? Methinks the term shooting brake is the wrong name for this sleek coupe.
It’s still gorgeous, though.
Cars UK says
It’s certainly less commodious than the original DB5 Shooting Brake!
