Electric Skoda Citigo e iV costs from £16,995
The Electric Skoda Citigo e iV, sister to the VW e-Up! and SEAT Mii Electric, goes on sale in the UK with prices starting at £16,995 (after PiCG).
The SEAT Mii Electric went on sale in the UK last month, and now it’s the turn of its Czech sister – the Skoda Citigo e iV, revealed back in the spring – to go on sale, and its starts at a chunk lower price than the SEAT – just £16,995 (after PiCG) for the entry-level SE spec. The Citigo e iV comes with a 36.8kWh battery pack driving a single 81bhp electric motor at the front and has a range of 140-170 miles on a full charge, and can scoot to 62mph in 12.5 seconds, which will feel a chunk quicker, particularly the first bit, thanks to the electric motor’s instant torque.
Charging the Skoda’s battery will take an hour on a 40kW charger (SE L model only), and an 80 per cent charge at a 7kW Wallbox will take a bit over four hours.
It’s the entry-level Skoda Citigo e iV SE which gets the £16,995 price tag and comes with Climate, 14″ steel wheels, SWING DAB and remote locking, with the Citigo e iV SE L adding in 16″ alloys, ambient lighting, Comfort Pack and body-colour door mirrors and handles. It costs from £19,315 (after PiCG).
The new electric Skoda Citigo e iV goes on sale on 10 December 2019.
