The Lamborghini Urus tackles a snowscape in the latest tease video
The Lamborghini Urus SUV will debut on 4 December 2017, ahead of which Lamborghini delivers more tease videos – this time off-road and on snow.
With the Lamborghini Urus’ debut rapidly approaching (it’s on 4 December), the Italians are in full-blown tease mode to garner excitement.A couple of weeks ago we had a video of the Urus playing in sand dunes, and the first look at the Urus’s extra driving modes to turn it in to a proper SUV, not just a soft-roading rocket, it would seem.
So having demonstrated the Sand Mode, Lamborghini now move on to the Snow mode and Off-Road Mode in these tease videos, as the Urus tackles a snowy landscape and some proper off-roading
And it certainly seems, from what we can see, that the Urus really is going to be capable of tackling more than a boot sale muddy car park when it arrives, although we doubt it’s going to approach Land Rover good.
But blatting across a snowy landscape the Urus does do a half decent impression of a WRC on a Scandinavian stage, moving at speeds you wouldn’t really do on snow, but seemingly doing it with control and alacrity.
It also manages more than a decent fist of off-road tracks, although Lamborghini don’t show the Urus tackling anything rocky and requiring big articulation.
It certainly looks like Lamborghini’s trick off-road electronic wizardry is going to be able to tame the Urus’s 650bph V8 to make it work at high speed on snow and rough tracks, but we’re probably going to have to wait until its debut to get any real detail.
