McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has revealed a number of defined options for the 650S and 625C, and defined five tiers of personalisation for McLaren owners.

McLaren has an MSO service to cover all their customers bespoke needs

Once you get to the level where you can afford to buy a car like the McLaren 650S, the options available are far more than just a few extra tick boxes on a spec sheet; the possible range of customisation is limited only by your imagination and bank account.
MSO Defined includes an aerodynamic kit, carbon bits for the interior, carbon fibre rear diffuser and extended door blades (like the MSO 650S), full carbon rear deck, carbon fibre mirror arms and redesigned instrument cluster.
But as well as MSO defined, McLaren are also offering a number of other MSO services.
MSO Bespoke is McLaren’s ‘Whatever you can afford, we can do’ service, with endless paint and trim options all the way on to completely custom design (like the McLaren X-1). Unsurprisingly, 95 per cent of all P1 buyers have avaialed themselves of MSO Bespoke’s services, and even 20 per cent of 650S buyers do the same.
MSO Limited is all about producing limited runs of cars like the McLaren 50 12C and Spider, and MSO Heritage makes sure owners of the McLaren F1 get all the help they need to keep their cars at their best (and improve them). Finally, MSO Programmes is all about the McLaren P1 GTR Driver programme.
So, however wealthy you are, McLaren has an MSO programme to help you empty your bank account.
