New Aston Martin Vantage will be REVEALED on 21 November
The new Aston Martin Vantage will be revealed on 21 November 2017, as AML work to renew their range and add more new models.
Last week we had a tease for the new Aston Marin Vantage – AML’s entry-level car – with the new Vantage lurking under a sheet. Now, thanks to a tweet from AML, we know the new Vantage will be properly revealed on 21 November 2017.
Of course, we’ve already got a pretty good idea of how the new Vantage will look thanks not only to James Bond’s DB10 – from which the new Vantage takes a chunk of its design cues – but also from Aston’s ‘Spy’ photos of the new Vantage back in the summer.
So although you can probably expect a few standout features we perhaps weren’t expecting with the new Vantage, how it looks is a bit of a given – Brutal and Beautiful in equal measure.
We also have a pretty good idea of what will be lurking under the bonnet too, and – at least to kick off with – that will be the new AMG V8 found under the bonnet of the new DB11 V8.
In the DB11, Aston has delivered AMG’s 4.0 litre V8 with 503bhp, and although there’s speculation AML may de-tune that a bit for the V8 Vantage, we’d be surprised if they do. But it’ll still be more than the current V8’s 440bhp in any case.
Following on from the new V8 Vantage Coupe should be both the V12 Vantage – with the new AML 5.2 litre V12 good for 600bhp, as well as convertible versions of both cars.
But the starting point, the new Vantage V8, will show us just where Aston is heading.
