You may have thought that Land Rover’s recent revelation that the Holland & Holland Range Rover costs from £180,000 was pushing the limits of what could be charged for a Range Rover. But Overfinch would beg to differ.
For your more than 200 large you get pretty much what you’d expect from Overefinch, but to another degree.
Not content with simply adding some very nice quilted leather to the interior, Overefinch have gone overboard by fitting Mother of Pearl inlays throughout the Range Rover cabin – all precision-drilled to a fraction of a millimetre and then hand-laid – and used Bridge of Weir leather with a Cirrus micro-piping with contrast stitching.
Even the boot comes in for special attention, with a unique loadspace floor that brings the contents forward for collection once the tailgate is opened, all trimmed in more Bridge of Weir leather with aluminium runners instead of common all garden carpet.
The launch model (pictured above) comes in Santorini Black with hand-laid carbon fibre for the front and rear bumpers, a roof spoiler and a new Overfinch grill.
Under the skin there’s an Overfinch stainless steel exhaust – which can be made to snarl at the touch of a Bluetooth-controlled button – and the potent 5.0 litre supercharged V8. The Overfinch sits on new 22″ Equus forged alloy wheels with a diamond turned finish.
Kevin Sloane, Overfinch Chairman, said:
For the first time, the larger Range Rover is being used as a chauffeuring vehicle and our interpretation sets a new benchmark of exclusivity.
The Overfinch LWB is in direct response to growing demand aimed specifically at global, ultra-high net worth customers and is the most expensive we have ever produced.
We’ve given careful consideration and perfectly executed additional high value features to significantly increase comfort levels.
Of course, the Overfinch Range Rover LWB can end up costing a lot more than the basic £205,000 once you start to go a bit daft with custom options, so if you want the ultimate Range Rover Overfinch will be perfectly happy to accommodate your every whim.
