Red Bull has taken an F1 car to the Burj Al Arab Helipad and put David Coulthard in the driving seat to do doughnuts to celebrate their 2013 F1 titles.

David Coulthard gives the thumbs up whilst doing doughnuts
Sebastian Vettel may be cool, collected and composed behind the wheel of his Red Bull F1, but even an in-control German needs to let off steam when he’s just taken his fourth F1 drivers title in a row.
But the latest doughnuts by an F1 team won’t have the FIA up in arms (probably) even if the stunt Red Bull have pulled to mark their latest achievements will give anyone who’s afraid of heights the heebie-jeebies.
Red Bull are in Abu Dhabi this week for the Grand Prix and have taken the chance to take an F1 car to the helipad at the top of the Burj Al Arab Hotel (the same helipad Aston Martin used to launch the Vanquish in Dubai last year) and enlisted David Coulthard to turn a series of doughnuts at 1053 feet above the ground.
It’s a great way to show off and celebrate yet another drivers and constructors title for Red Bull, and a great way to show the FIA that celebratory doughnuts are worth the effort.
But don’t watch if you’re afraid of heights. One slip and DC could have been the first man in a flying F1 car.

“Donuts” are the most ignorant way to attract attention I can imagine.
These adverts and Vettel’s idiotic displays of disrespect for the sport his team his fans and his car, have turned me from a fan to a complete opposite.
I can’t wait to see him get dethroned but I won’t spend a single dime on any Red Bull product or any media coverage until I see a real and sincere apology from him and from Red Bull.
As far as I’m concerned the team and the driver should have all their points stripped for the 2013 season. Webber, Raikonen, Alanso, Masa have the class to be a Champion. Vettel does not. Not any more! Now he will just be another swelled head without respect for anything.
F1 is not NASCAR but if it wants to be it will loose me and others as fans.
A world Champion has to be a responsible role model. These displays prove he is not worthy of the title no matter how much “talent” he has and his sponsor approves. Makes me puke!
