Lexus announce UK prices and specs for the facelifted RX
UK prices and specs for the 2019 Lexus RX and RX L facelift are announced, with prices starting at £52,705 for the RX Premium Pack rising to £62,605 for the RX L Takumi.
Back in the spring, we revealed a facelift for the Lexux RX SUV, Lexus’s largest SUV offering in the UK, and a properly appealing premium SUV.The latest RX – and longer RX L – isn’t an all new RX, but it has come in for some sensible updates both in looks and equipment to make it more appealing. That includes the usual light, wheels and bumpers, as well as a new infotainment which you can use without the usual Lexus Track Pad.
Standard equipment even on the entry-level RX and RX L with Premium Pack includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the new 12.3″ infotainment, flappy paddles (not that you’ll use them), wireless phone charging, the new Lexus Safety System+, Triple-Eye LED headlights, Leather, heated electric seats and more besides. Prices start at %52,705.
Move up to the RX F Sport (which costs from £55,205) and you get new performance dampers, Adaptive Variable Suspension, Active Stabilisers, Sunroof, 20″ alloys, F Sport smooth leather and body kit and an illuminated entry system.
Push the boat out for the new RX Takumi and you get a ne design for the 20″ alloys, Blind Sport Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Card Key, HUD, 360 view monitor, semi-analine leather, heated electric seats in row two, posh Mark Levinson Sound, and a Panoramic roof (but not on the RX L). The RX Takumi costs from £61,705.
There are options to be had too, including tech packs and posh paint, and packs to make lower-spec models more appealing. For our money, we’d take the new RX F Sport with Takumi Pack (even if it adds £5,500 to the F Sport’s price).
